This Sunday its the second of the under 18’s Super Sundays to be held at Loughborough University.

There will be 3 games throughout the day with Leicestershire playing against Staffordshire KO 1pm.

This Sunday, 1st December, we see the first Super Sunday of rugby for the county under 18’s boys at Loughborough University. 

Leicestershire KO at 11am against NLD. Other matches being played are:

E Midlands v N Midlands – 1pm
Staffordshire v Warwickshire – 3pm

Funeral details – Mike Mortimer

Further to the sad news of Mike’s death last week, the funeral will be held at Countesthorpe Crematorium on Friday 1st November at 3.00pm, the day after what was his birthday.

The crematorium address is Foston Rd, Countesthorpe, Leicester LE8 5QP for anyone who wishes to attend.

Grants available for Improving Pitch Quality

The Leicestershire Rugby Union Facilities Group is inviting clubs to apply for a small grant towards Improving Pitch Quality or Getting the Game on. 

LRU Grant Application Form 2019-2020

The closing date for applications is 30th September 2019 and decisions will be made and clubs notified in November.

Clubs are required to have complied with Regulation 7 Payment of Players, submitted accounts and paid subscriptions to Leicestershire Rugby Union.

 

Grounds/Pitch Survey

At Leicestershire R.U. we are committed to helping clubs improve their playing surfaces. To do this we wish to gain an understanding of what you need and how we can help.

Ideally, the Facilities Group would like to gain responses from officers/individuals dealing with the grounds or facilities at your club.
