All adults involved in Rugby including parents/guardians have a duty of care to safeguard all players and young people under the age of 18 and this includes the use of Social Media.

Can you please ensure that all Club/Team Pages are closed and that members of the group do not tag people from outside of the group into statuses and photos etc.

The LRU and RFU monitor posts on a regular basis and a number of posts including under age drinking and drinking games have been spotted and asked to be removed.

We do not condone under age drinking of any kind and anyone caught could have a detrimental effect on the Club.

We can’t turn a blind eye to this and in future if reported to us we will forward to the RFU to hand out sanctions.  So please monitor what is being shared on social media.
