Its a bumper weekend for rugby! Not only is it the start of the 6 Nations to brighten the dull days, but we also have plenty of local rugby to get stuck into.

Highlight for Saturday has to be local derby between South Leicester and Hinckley at South, KO 2.15pm. Belgrave 1st and 2nd teams play Market Harborough 1st and 2nd at home. Birstall 1st and 2nd are at home to Grimsby and Shepshed, Loughborough 2nds play Leicester Lions 2nds at home with Loughborough colts also at home to Derby. Lutterworth are hosting 3 matches. Their 2nds play Southam 2nd, the 3rd team play Aylestone Atheletic 2nds and they also have a colts match at home to Broadstreet. That’s just a snippet of the games being played. And if Saturday matches are not enough, we have a bevy of Age Grade Rugby happening across the county on Sunday too. There is a double header for the county U16’s boys at Hinckley against Staffordshire, KO 1pm and 3pm, and we also have the county plate quarter finals being played for the U14’s and U15’s.
