Geoff Brooks from South Leicester RFC was honoured at Twickenham yesterday as RFU Presidents “Value the Volunteer Award”. He was presented with the award from Eddie Jones at a function before the game.

Geoff also enjoyed two nights in a hotel with a VIP day to watch England vs Australia. His name was included in the match-day programme and as well as other momento’s from the day he had the chance to meet some of the players after their victory.

Geoff is a South Leicester RFC stalwart having served his club for many years in a variety of roles, (notably in the age grade section). His nomination from the LRU was forwarded for his outstanding contribution to rugby on and off the pitch.
