The RFU have issued a statement regarding all rugby activity following the latest health and Government advice

Rugby activity includes club training, league and cup matches plus rugby education courses from 17 March until 14 April subject to continued review.

With this, all rugby in Leicestershire will be suspended during this time. This includes all county matches and festivals. Re-scheduling these games will be reviewed alongside any further decisions made by the RFU and in line with Government and health professionals advice in the coming weeks. 

The safety and welfare of players, supporters and their extended families must be a priority and clubs are strongly advised not to continue with ANY gatherings during this period. Alternative methods of communication should be considered for club meetings if they are necessary at all.
