Leicestershire Under 18s Coaching and Management team would like to congratulate Leicestershire U18s Captain Harry Clayton (Stamford School/ Leicester Forest RFC) & Isaac Thompson (Oakham School/ Melton Mowbray RFC) on being selected for England Countries U18s Squad to play Ireland U18s in April.

The squad was chosen from last weekends regional trials at Stourbridge RFC. Leicestershire had 3 other players playing in the weekends games in Jacob Berrow (Ashby RFC) Joseph Callery (Loughborough Grammar School/Leicester Forest RFC) & Justin Trombas (Brooksby College/Lutterworth RFC) who was playing in the trials a year early and hopefully will go one step further next year.

The Midlands beat South East on Friday winning 20-14 and then on Sunday the Midlands played London & South East losing 24-5. The Midlands players were feeling a bit sore from their victory over South East as London & South East had a much easier first game on Friday beating the North 33-0.
