The Leicestershire Mens Barbarians side starts up on Wednesday 7th December at Belgrave RFC 19:00 arrival for 19:30 start.

Fully open program to anyone playing at clubs level 6 and below. The program looks to bring a chance to play a form of county rugby to these players and provide a pathway to the full senior mens side.

The Red Roses have once again made the Rugby World Cup Final set to take place this weekend!
They will face hosts New Zealand on Saturday morning Kick off at 6.30am (GMT) live on ITV1.

The match will be played at Eden Park, Auckland and so far more than 40,000 tickets have been sold making it a record breaking crowd for a womens rugby game.

This will be the Rose’s 3rd title chase after winning previously in 1994 and 2014. The Black Ferns have triumphed on 5 occasions; 4 of those being against the Red Roses, which really sets this up to be one of the greats!

The starting line up features Leicester born Emily Scarratt and also Loughborough Lightening stars Sarah Hunter (Captain), Sadia Kabeya and Cath O’Donnell.

Leicestershire Rugby Union is excited to announce the first U12s and U14s Girls training session, which will go ahead on 7th November 2022 on the AGP at Leicester Forest East Rugby Club. (LE3 3PJ)

Under 12s session:
Starting at 7pm
Arrive by 6.30pm for registration with the session running from 7pm-7.50pm

Under 14s session:
Starting 8pm
Arriving 7.30pm for registration with the session running from 8pm- 8.50pm

The first session will be an open training session so we can assess numbers going forward, player ability and player welfare.
This will be a carousel of coaching looking at Game play, core skills, player readiness, activate and small sided games.

We look forward to welcoming as many girls as possible to the evening from as many clubs as possible across Leicestershire.
