What’s it about?
Representative rugby is the part of the RFU player pathway that presents opportunity to grassroots club and community players the chance to play higher rugby. Each team provides a platform for talented players to continue to develop at high standards and look for success, whether personal – or within a team.
What’s the goal?
The LRU are committed to coaching, developing and improving all players within it’s team’s. As such, success isn’t solely measured on wins or losses, in fact it’s measured on seeing pathway players develop to bigger and better things which is ultimately the pro game.
How do I get involved?
To play
It’s as simple as being the best you can be at your local club or team. Our rep team scouts are at many games and have many contacts.
To volunteer
We’re always on the lookout for passionate people to help our teams and those involved. You don’t need to play to contribute in a big way to help both shape the future or make the today a success!
To sponsor
County rugby doesn’t pay for itself unfortunately. So we need all the help we can get, if you or your business want to help the teams that get exposure across multiple regions and nationally via the senior team competitions – let us know!
