Leicestershire Rugby Union, letter of condolence to Leicester City Football Club:

On behalf of the Leicestershire Rugby Union Management Committee and all the clubs and referees in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland may we pass our deepest sympathy to Leicester City Football Club and Fans for the tragic event and loss of life recently suffered.

The world of sport crosses over in difficult times and we in the rugby family recognise the work and effort that has gone into the club to achieve such great things.

We have been welcomed at the King Power Stadium and held events there with great success. We wish the club well and no-one will forget what has been achieved by your owner and what he gave to Leicester City and to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Please pass on our condolences to all family members whose loved ones were lost.
