Leicestershire Rugby Union are delighted to welcome Andrew Milner to the RFU team as CRC alongside Tim Westwood. We are sure you will be seeing Andy around and about in clubs very soon and will offer him a warm welcome.

Andrew joined the RFU in 2014 as a Community Rugby Coach in Northamptonshire for the East Midlands CB, after previously working within two All Schools in the area as their full time coach/rugby development officer.

He started playing rugby from the age of 6 at Harpenden RFC before moving to live in the Netherlands from 8 years of age. He played rugby throughout school while abroad before moving back to the UK, settling in Loughborough. He joined Syston RFC at the age of 16 where he played rugby up until he was 21, he then decided to concentrate on finishing his Sport Science degree from Loughborough University. He has been coaching since the age of 16 as a volunteer coaching age groups from U8’s all the way through to men’s senior rugby. He has been coaching at Old Laurentian RFC, who play at Level 7, since July 2016.

‘I am excited to be back on my “local” patch (my parents still live in Loughborough) and I look forward to meeting you over the course of the season! I will be in contact with my clubs in the next few weeks.’
